The Government "Of the People, For the People, By the People" no longer exists. The sense of Civic Duty has diminished in the light of a false sense of grandeur and pride. This has caused grave damage to our nation and I feel it should be addressed by the Obama Administration by encouraging the Citizenry to demand the following from Congress.
A) No Elected Member of the Federal Government should earn a salary above and beyond the median income of the citizenry that makes up the electing body through both currency income, or though a combination of income, benefits, and other incentives.
B) No Elected Member of the Federal Government shall serve more than 2 terms in any one body, nor shall they serve more than 4 terms in any combination of elected bodies.
