Push back the school day a few hours.

I and the others that have signed below petition President Obama and the White House to push back the middle school and high school day an hour or two. Starting the school day at seven o'clock am each day (that's when my bus comes), meaning that students have to get up at six in the morning, ensures that nearly all students have a hard time paying attention, especially in early morning and after lunch classes. Plus, wouldn't it make sense to end the day later, so that the students would arrive home closer to the time the work day ends? That way, parents wouldn't have to pay so much to ensure after-school care for their children, saving hundreds of families crucial amounts of their hard-earned wages.
