Push for reform of our election system to include:
1) Do away with "campaign contributions" since they allow the wealthy & corporations to buy our representatives, their legislation & so, our laws & finally, our government;
2) Make election campaigns only 3 (or 6) months long, by law, maximum;
3) Make it illegal to go from government into industries the person formerly oversaw for at least 2 years so we end the "revolving door" going from gov't to business and back again;
4) Create legislation ending the unlimited ability of people & corporations to contribute to election campaigns, ala' the Supreme Court's Citizens United ruling.
Until we get the big, ugly, corrupting money of the wealthy & corporations out of our gov't, nothing will change & our government will be for them first.
