More than 11 million people live under the shadows throughout this country, these are hard-working Americans, many of them have lived in the U.S all their life. They work hard, they pay all the taxes that they are permitted to, and they follow the rules ever since they came here. However, because of their legal status they have been marginalized into living in a life of fear, restrictions, and constant hardship. Yet, for the 2.1 million identified DREAMers none of these adversities are a challenge to their desire to contribute to this great nation and its future. This is why we must pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform and the DREAM ACT. It is the right thing to do to for all of those DREAMers and Immigrants that want to give back and contribute to the continuing progress of the U.S.
