Assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, and other weaponry made specifically for military warfare has absolutely no place in civilian life, whether with citizens or municipal or federal agencies such as law enforcement. We petition the President and Congress to enact a ban on such weapons from any and all nonmilitary sale, possession, and use.
