The USDA Rural Housing 502 Loan Program helps those who live in rural areas with a guarantee loan for adequate housing. The Loan is a 30 fixed rate, 100% financing. Yet, Congress has failed to continue to fund the program. Now, those, as like myself have found the rug pulled from our dreams of home ownership. We can bail out banks, auto companies, give alomst a half billion dollars to a defunct "solar" manufacting company but can't fund a program that has helped so many hard working American citizens.
