Push congress to create new regulations insuring pre-clearance of changes to voting procedures for ALL states.

Created by R.S. on June 25, 2013

The recent Supreme Court decision striking down preclearance provisions of the Voting Rights Act for states with a history of voter discrimination held that, absent clear evidence that those states are inherently more racist than others, it was unfair to require pre-clearance provisions of those states and not others.

As such, congress must act swiftly to establish regulations for ALL states regarding voting procedures--included but not limited to redistricting and changes to voter ID and voter registration requirements--which insure that ALL states have fair and democratic voting procedures.
