The PATRIOT Act was signed into law at a point when the American people feared infiltration from outside the country. Now, everyone I ask fears the near removal of our 4th Amendment rights made possible by the PATRIOT Act. Domestic spying had gone too far. I realize that terrorism is still a real danger, but loss of our Constitutional rights in exchange for a little security is unacceptable. The PATRIOT Act had outlived its usefulness and is now being used against American citizens. The PATRIOT Act must be repealed in full.
