Our national gun laws require a reboot. The goal of this petition is to bring to the POTUS's attention the need to rescind and revise large portions of our nation's gun regulations.
Our proposal is two-part:
1. Remove, refine, and consolidate all Second Amendment-related Federal Laws into one Act; removing firearms prohibition and ownership prerequisites/taxes/limitations for the law-abiding that exist therein.
2. Force an immediate audit of all State and Local laws pertaining to the Second Amendment, to ensure their proper incorporation via the Fourteenth Amendment of the US Constitution.
These changes would ensure that current and future law-abiding citizens that choose to exercise their rights are not wrongfully fined/incarcerated/deprived of property.
