Push for Congression term limits and amend the 22nd Amendment

Created by R.S. on September 28, 2011

In order to curb professional politicians and get back to the roots of citizen legislators and promote the idea of citizen executives, the Obama administration should push for the following term limits:
-No more than three consecutive terms in an 8 year period for members of the House of Representatives
-No more than two consecutive terms in a 18 year period for members of the Senate
-No more than three consecutive terms in a 16 year period
-Those who become President via the line of succession and thus have to finish out their predecessor's term shall not have the limit counted against them.
