Eliminate lifetime pensions for congressmen
Let them participate in Social Security. Move congressional retirement funds to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system.
They can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. No more votes to increase it.
They can participate in the same health care system as the American people.
They must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12.
Anyone who attempts or succeeds to influence congressmen to vote for anything that harms the general public is subject to jail and reparation of double damages.
