It is clear to me & the rest of the American public, voters & citizens around the world that the US Congress is broken, divisive and focused on partisan based ideology. No longer do we see compromise or agreement among the House and Senate Republicans or Democrats. Congress only cares about themselves and not the American public. Now is the time to push for strong & sweeping Congressional reform to include, but not limited to the following:
*Term Limits of no more than 3 total terms as either a Representative or Senator
*Reduction of staff for all Representative & Senators
*Elimination of lifetime benefits for current & newly elected Representatives & Senators
Until Congressional reform is implemented & fresh ideas are injected into Congress it will continue to be non-functioning.
