We are in a governmental stalemate. Old ideas and old battle lines continue to persist. We have leaders of botch chambers refusing to let bills that could successfully pass, from being voted on. There is a strong hatred among the senior leaders. Quite simply, all of our ideas are old and insufficient.
Our junior members of Congress seem to hold more promise. Many are much more willing to compromise and work together since that haven't battled for decades over partisan politics.
Mostly importantly, they have new and fresh ideas. We need more ideas instead of the same ones from the same people.
Lastly, government service should not be a lifestyle or career. Just as our service men dedicate a few years of their lives to our country and leave for other pursuits, so should our leaders.
