push for the creation of legislation to more rigidly test for and punish for the use of steroids in collegiate sports.

Created by D.S. on December 23, 2012

The purpose of this petition is to attempt to halt the rampant use of steroids in collegiate football. Current testing focuses more on marijuana and other street drugs rather than steroids and performance enhancing drugs (PEDs). Steroid testing costs nearly 4 times as much per test and schools typically avoid them due to the cost of testing entire athletic programs repeatedly throughout the season.
