We need to end Credit Score Discrimination. These have been trying times for Americans in a crashing economy and many had to live and survive off of credit. Employers are openly performing credit scores as conditions of employment. Why? Does bad credit in this day and age determine character? No. In any job, employees have to follow company guidelines and training to do their job. Even at a lending place, they aren't lending to themselves so credit score is irrelevant.
Between this and discrimination towards those not already employed, many employers with good jobs are overlooking highly qualified candidates making a high credit score a priority in hiring. This stagnates the economic growth when we can't put the people who truly need the income to repay debt, back to work.
