Each year approximately 18 billion disposable diapers are thrown into U.S. landfills. Every person that uses cloth diapers is helping make a significant environmental change. Instead of paying for more landfills through taxpayers’ dollars, a tax credit should be granted to all families who prove usage of cloth diapers and/or a diaper service. Diapers make up the 3rd largest contributor to landfills, we the people can make a difference by supporting the usage of cloth diapers.
