push for laws that hold government employees at all levels face high penalties when abusing their positions of power.

When government employees, from local to federal, commit crimes directly related to their positions and/or abuse of power in those positions, the penalty for those crimes should multiplied, at minimum 3x. These people are given a unique position to have power over people's lives and they must be held to a higher standard that, when broken, comes with a higher cost. Their crimes not only affect their victims but erodes foundation of any faith and trust in government. This is especially true when the government fails to properly punish the individuals since they all, like this administration, belong to the same club and do not truly want to be held accountable for their actions.
