Marijuana is not bad for our country. Marijuana is less harmful than alcohol and tobacco use, and those drugs are legal. Marijuana is said to be a gateway drug but it is not. Marijuana is the least harmful and easiest to obtain that is why it is always used first. It is no more of a gateway drug than alcohol and we allow our college students to use alcohol.
Every year we spend millions in tax payer money to enforce marijuana laws and jailing people that are caught with marijuana. We need to legalize marijuana and use that tax money for something else that makes more sense. Marijuana is not so harmful that we need to spend all that tax payer money to keep it off the streets.
This is the land of the free and we should be able to use marijuana if we so desire.Let's make it legal!!
