Push for legislation that allows people that are 85+ years of age to move to the front of the lines of polling stations.

Created by D.M. on October 13, 2014

On voting day, specifically during the presidential election, the lines at polling stations can be several hours long, all day long. Recognizing that older citizens have more difficulty waiting on such long lines, it is important to give these voters the ability to practice their voting rights. This is a petition to create legislation that would make it national policy for voters, that are 85 years old and older, to be able to move to the front of the lines at these polling stations, in order to save these people from the difficulties of waiting for several hours, which could be impossible for many, for various reasons such as health.
