Push legislation that reduces legislative salarys by the same percentage as the largest furloughed federal employee.

Created by M.N. on March 07, 2013

The House of Representatives and Senate should have their salaries reduced by an equal percentage as the federal employee most affected by the furlough. Since it is the fault of the legislative branch, due to their inaction, that federal employees will suffer a loss of wages because of this furlough; that loss should be reflected on the responsible parties. i.e: If the federal employee(s) most affected by the furlough loose 35% of their annual salaries due to furlough days, then the members of the Legislative branch of the U.S. Government should also loose 35% of their annual salaries.
