The United States currently provides around $30 Billion dollars in economic and military aid per year to foreign nations. In 2012, 25 nations were recipients of our foreign and military aid.
Though espionage, even among our allies, is an unfortuante reality, we should not provide financial aid to any nation that engages in esionage against the US. To do so is tantamount to aiding in freeing other resources to be used against our National Interests.
Any Nation found to have engaged in Espionage against the US should be barred from receiving foreign aid for at least one year, at which time aid requests can be reexamined.
