The manned exploration of Mars is not for the generations of tomorrow, but for the generations of today. There is no reason to postpone a manned Mission to Mars to the 2030's when we can do it by 2025-2029 with the funding and willpower.
The Mars Mission would pave the way for a permanent American base by 2030, and will inspire kids to take careers in science and engineering.
