Every person deserves to feel safe while trying to learn. The answer to the problem of guns in school is not to add more guns to schools. If an armed guard is injured, then the shooter has another gun to use. With the proper security features installed in every school, the chance of the gunman getting into a classroom would be cut down greatly. Doors are usually closed during class time. Locking those doors would keep a shooter out. Metal detectors and a more beefed up security system could make a huge difference. Closed circut cameras and someone monitoring them could alert police earlier.
