Push for minimum wage increase to $23 an hour.

Created by M.B. on November 26, 2012

Based on the increases in executive salaries since 1990 the equal increase for minimum wage workers should be at $23 an hour. doing thiswould mean a full time employee at minimum wage would be making roughly 40,000 a year. That is twice the povery line and the current median income and would increase tax revenue, and consumer spending. Increased consumer spending means companies would make more money and be able to increase employment; strengthening the middle class and the economy. A significant increase in minimum wage would not only be fair, but would benefit the economy and all Americans.
