Push people to not rely on the federal government for every thing and problem the see fit to get help on.

I see way too many headlines of people petitioning and protesting for the federal government to pass bills for anything they find wrong. I think there should at least be a push, from any administration, to get the federal government out of things it shouldn't be involved in. The Federal government is there to do what the constitution listed it to do, not regulate and change the entire country's policies. Issues regarding wages, unemployment, and many of the pressing issues we face today should be handled by state legislatures. Involving the federal government so much and setting up so many federal agencies cripples the economy and weakens the country. The federal government should only influence matters that should be left to the state, not enact them.
