All members of congress should be forced to submit to polygraph examinations at least once every 3 months. If any member fails the examination indicating the congressperson has lied then he or she shall be given 2 additional opportunities to take & pass the examination within an additional 2 month window. If all examinations are failed, the congress person shall be ejected from congress immediately.
Once removed from office & depending upon the falsifications revealed during the polygraph examination the former member of congress should face criminal prosecution after an investigation into all matters relating to their exposed dishonest acts.
If it is found that a member of congress traded legislation for donations they shall receive a minimum of 25 years without parole in prison.
