In November, a election was held not for president but by a group of people wishing for there rights and freedom. With 61% of the vote they choose through democracy to become members of our proud nation. Though they are our brothers and sisters now, they have the right to be equal to us.
The people of Puerto Rico may be American Citizens but they do not have the same rights as us. They don't have the right to vote for president.
Congress needs to take up the issue of Puerto Rico's statues and give the American Citizens living in Puerto Rico the rights they should of been given long ago.
