No term limits within Congress has created an aristocracy within the United States, and we have moved away from Congress representing the people of the United States.
I propose that Senate has a 2 term limits of 4 years and the Representatives of the House have 4 term limits of 2 years. Current politicians that exceed the limits can finish out their current term, but being unable to run again for the same position.
This change would properly ensure that we are getting a true representation of the people in Congress and it would keep Representatives on focusing on the laws they need to pass and less on lobbyists trying to keep them in Congress indefinitely.
