To push for a system where the government would have greater responsibility in paying for Higher Education

This petition is to recognize that student coming out of college with ever rising tuition debts. The government (the state governments at the least) could help out immensely by paying all costs of going to a recognized State College/University. To help students pay off their debt, the money would be taken out of their income, much like the income tax, and would not be as harsh to deal with as it is now. This petition has been brought into the light due to recent events in Michigan where a bill similar to this petition was introduced into the legislature.
