Muslims and Christians are slaughtering each other in the CAR. There are some French forces and a few other UN peacekeepers there, but they are not turning the tide from horrific violence to peace. The newly elected President, Samba-Panza, has called for peace, but without a stabilizing force to back her up the country is slated for chaos.
The real concern here is protecting the civilians that are being slaughtered. Let the combatants fight if they must, but a stronghold needs to be in place for the displaced non-combatants.
