Push the White House and Congress To Make Election Day A National Holiday And Have Early Voting In All Fifty States.

Created by C.K. on March 02, 2013

After seeing the long waits many voters had on election day in 2012 we need serious election reform all over the country. Please sign this petition to keep this issue at the forefront of President Obama's and congress's attention. This issue has been put on the back burner for too long and has been forgotten about in the past the further we got away from the last election day. We should make "Election Day" a national holiday. We should also have early voting in all fifty states so voters in non-early voting states (or states where they cut early voting hours) can vote at least 10 days before election day. No voter should have to wait in line for hours just to be able to vote. Obama should ask congress to provide funds to the states so they can expand voting hours and implement early voting
