A gun is a tool. Guns were created to protect! Making it illegal to bring a gun in that school didn't stop the gunman in CT. Making murder illegal didn't stop him either. Gun control would make only criminals that ignore laws have guns and leave us that obey laws and respect guns and their purpose, helpless. If one or two people in that school had guns, the gunman couldn't have killed that many people before he was taken out. Laws don't stop criminals. That's what criminal means! One that breaks laws! If they want to kill they will. If not with guns with something else but they will still be able to get guns on the street just like heroine! It's illegal but does that take it off the streets? No. Criminals break laws. A law will not stop them. Allow the correct use of guns. Protection.
