The United States has gifted $56 Billion to foreign countries in 2012. Yet, over 70% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Our jobs are in jeopardy, our wages are stagnant, our cost of living is rising, our schools and cities face budget cuts.
We do not believe our government should waste money on foreign countries when our economy and our people are struggling. Furthermore, we believe that being heavily vested in the Middle East causes instability on Wall Street and that in turn, further destabilizes our economy.
The US government should solely concentrate on improving American lives until complete economic recovery is reached. Foreign aid should be completely eliminated and all money invested in America.
