There should be a nationwide vote on the banning of assault rifles and magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. A similiar vote to the way we elect the president. This way every citizen can make their voice heard. I believe most people agree with almost all of the other proposals just announced pertaining to gun control. These are possibly the 2 most important ones that will have the biggest impact. If left in the hands of the legislators it is very likely that nothing will be accomplished.
