put a bill/amendment into motion for retirement policies of congress/senate and passing bills that don't apply to them

I believe the american people would agree that a bill/amendment changing Congress/Senates retirement policy to more than just a single term payout. A soldier that risks his/her life for this country is required to do a minimum of 20 yrs and it should be no different for them. This would also help the budget. I also believe that the american people are sick and tired of Congress/Senate voting on bills/amendments for the american people and exempting themselves from them. This is just completely wrong, how can you make a choice for someone else and force them to do something, yet YOU do not want to be a part of it. I beg that these topics be brought up in the public eye, let the PEOPLE vote on them, not Congress/Senate. The people of this great nation deserve this right, and hope.
