Put body cameras on all police officers, and make the video/audio publicly accessible on a cloud.

Created by S.M. on June 07, 2015

Every single police officer dealing with the public should be required to wear a body camera that is indestructible, and tamper proof. It should be recording at all times, without any need for the officer to turn it on, or off.

At the end of every shift, officers will plug their camera into a computer, and it will automatically upload their video/audio data (along with their name, and ID number) to a publicly accessible cloud.

This system will make law enforcement accountable for all their actions. There will no longer be gray areas, and officers will no longer be able to lie about what happened. If a police officer demonstrates a track record of escalation, violence, or stupidity, it will be public record - and we can take action.

Let's use technology to fix bad police work.
