Put child abuse to an end

I believe child abuse should be put to an end, every year 3.3 million reports of child abuse are reported. The punishment for child abuse shouldn't be taken lightly, children are young and defenseless against parents. A much more sever punishment should be put into effect to lower the number of child abuse everywhere.
