Too many laws protect companies from people, not enough protect people from companies. Consumer fraud is rampant, corporate buyouts and bribes are accepted, and we as people have no say in what happens in our government. We need our courts and laws to reflect the needs of WE THE PEOPLE, not of corporations.
Each company has the right to success in a free market (oh wait, actually they don't, that's not a "right" at all... Capitalism is not in our constitution.) If a company deceives consumers (media and advertising), intentionally puts in toxins or leaves out medicine (tobacco and health care), or if they simply refuse to allow consumers choice (GMO's, reproductive health) then CITIZENS DESERVE PROTECTION to ensure their RIGHT TO LIFE, LIBERTY, and THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS
