We the people of these United States, in order to form a more perfect union, continue to establish justice, and ensure domestic tranquility, hereby declare to our government that we are tired of being betrayed.
By signing this pledge, I confirm that I am sick of electing people who don’t remember that they work for the citizens of this great country. I confirm that I am sick of special interests, broken promises, hearing candidates pander just to earn a vote, and most importantly I’m sick of legitimate government being held up for pet projects. We need to stop focusing on what divides us and instead look to what unites us.
We already have more than we need of politics. What we need now is effective government.
