To put Congress's pay in line with the military pay chart. New Congress members would start out as E1' and work up.

I think Congress should make the same amount of money as our military (actually less). I feel that a new congress person should make the same as an E1 in the military and work there way up (unless they are prior service). I think anytime congress wants to give them selves a pay raise they would also be giving the military pay raises. I don't think it's fair the people defending this country risking everything to protect us should make hundreds of thousands less then someone siting in a comfy leather chair in a climate controlled office debating what the meaning of "is" should be.
