Put into effect a law that requires schools to have a armed police officer present in all schools from K-12th grade.

Created by S.F. on December 14, 2012

Put into effect a mandate requiring all schools from elementary to high school to have at least one armed police officer present at the school during school hours.

Some schools already have this in place. They are called Student Resource Officers. They can provide awareness and education on substance abuse prevention as well as helping with school security.

This would also create several new permanent job positions in law enforcement across cities in the United States.

It is my hope that with a person in this position in each school that senseless acts like what happened today in Newtown, Connecticut can be averted or stopped before innocent lives are lost.
