In a country that has plenty, no child should suffer the pangs of hunger while at school. As a nation we constantly look for good investments and I can think of nothing more deserving than our children. I have fought and continue to fight for my country, but my heart aches every time I witness a news report of more children being denied a meal. What are we fighting for if our on children are going hungry. What are we protecting? If we must sacrifice a military aircraft or new ship so be it, as long as the children are being fed. This is America and stories of children having food thrown away due to their parents inability to pay has to stop now; it is a disgrace to this nation. Lets collectively raise our voices and vow to invest in our children by leaving no child behind that is hungry.
