Put an End to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Penalization Of Drivers Under The C.S.A. For Truck Maintenance

Under the current C.S.A regulations governing safety for commercial carriers. The F.M.C.S.A has included a point system to disqualify drivers as competent operators of commercial vehicles. This rule is applied to company drivers as well as owner operators. Company drivers who do not own the equipment should not have to pay fines or be assessed points for company owned equipment. We should not be put into a situation where if we have a minor mechanical issue such as marker lights or A.B.S. lights malfunctioning for some minor electronic issue that we are fined and assessed points that affect our ability to be insurable or affect our Commercial Drivers License. I petition the Federal government to remove all CSA penalties to the Drivers for Mechanical Malfunctions. This should be to owner.
