Put an end to greyhound racing.

Created by J.B. on November 29, 2013

Approximately 19,000 greyhounds are killed every year simply because they are not fast enough. Those in the business would have you believe that's these dogs are treated humanely and adopted when their lives as racers are over, but the truth is these dogs are confined most of the time in horrible conditions, given little medical care, fed poorly, and when their cruel master are done with them, they are shot, starved, hanged, poisoned, or beaten to death. The government sees to it that animal cruelty laws exist to protect animals from such horrible abuse, but greyhound racing is not covered by such laws. The federal government must take action to end this abuse by shutting dog tracks down and seeing to it that all dogs are placed in homes.
