It is an invasion of privacy and an insult to the american people when our mail is opened by the post office or any one else that is federal or otherwise. When we address and send a book or a gift to a friend or loved one it should only be opened by them, NOT someone who has no business opening it.
If I send a book via media mail and want to add a nice little badge in there as a gift I should not have the irritating experience of having the package sent back to me opened by none other than the post office! This goes for any mailing service.
Keep your noses our of our business! Its not your property its ours!
