Lobbying has taken control of government policy. No longer is the government controlled by the people for the people. The government is controlled through Wall Street and K-street. This petition is not just a tool to get a response from the White House, it is a petition to initiate reform in federal policy. A policy which should embrace the originial concept of government by the people and for the people. Policy should not be dictated by money but instead through democracy. Legislation and lobbying are dangerous cocktail.
