Students are mandated to go to school untill they are 18 by law. And for what? Teachers give out busy work that can be completed at home that are a complete waist of our learning time. Teachers might argue that we are learning by doing the work, but this is simply not the case. As a student I know that the students just do it a fast as possible to get it over with.
Pointless assignments also need to stop. To many time teachers give students assignments that doesn't teach or get the point across. All I know right now is that i'm supposed to write a petition, but I don't know why or what I am supposed to get out of it. This madness needs to stop!
