Put an end to the ridiculous rental market rate vs housing values in GA & stop investors from using adverse possession!

Created by K.P. on November 18, 2013

The property housing values compared to rental market rate is ridiculous in GA. The disparity is such a concern that a group of investors in GA are taking properties, via adverse possession. These investors are charging rent, which is illegal.

In DeKalb County a 4 bedroom rental is $1406.00, while the appraised value of the home is 44k. Do the math of how much rent should be. This amount is governed by HUD due to the section 8 housing market. However, there are resident tenants in GA that do not have the advantage of the Federal Government paying their rent.

Georgia is a conservative state; however there should be an assurance that state & government care about the welfare of the citizens, which are surviving families.

There are enough people ✞ to take a stand!
