Food stamps, welfare & assistance in general is being highly abused in our country. The US needs to federally monitor & drug test anyone receiving public assistance & require much stricter guidelines in monitoring the activity of said families. How often are food stamps traded out for drug cash? How much of the disability for mental illnesses goes right back into the drug trade that helped formed their mental illness? How often is public assistance being manipulated & worked around until those receiving the help are no longer using the help for it's intended purposes?
Drug tests for all those on public help in ANY state needs to be made mandatory. If individuals are tested as being a drug abuser in any shape or form, then NO more free rides on an economy already suffering major loss!
