This is a formal petition directed towards the President of the United States and Congress.
State legislature is now banning direct vehicle sales to consumers. Some are doing it under the cover of the dark (R Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan). Some just plain are not listening to their citizens. The fact is, direct sales work, much better than anything else out there, and shouldn’t be banned. President Obama must enact an executive order temporarily banning States from creating new and enforcing old laws that ban direct sales. After this, Congress needs to do the same, but in a more permanent solution. Congress should also be very transparent when creating the new bill and release revisions to the public, for the people to weigh in on the decision.
